Configuration: Connection - Connect with Modbus RTU
1. Click the “Connection… Connect…” menu.
2. From the “Connect Using:” drop-down menu, select “Direct Connection to COMx”
where x is the selected COM port.

3. The default settings that appear should be correct for the COM port selected (see
Figure 3-5).
4. Click the “Protocol Selections” button and enter “1 ms” in the “Delay Between Polls”
field.
5. Click the “OK” button.
