6 Replacing the air
purification filter
Understand the healthy air
protect lock
This appliance is equipped with the healthy
air protect lock to make sure that the
filters are in optimal condition when the
appliance is operating. When the filter is
almost full and has to be replaced, the air
purification filter replacement light ( )
starts to flash.
When you do not replace the filter in time:

replacement light ( ) remains
on.

The appliance stops operating
and is locked. Call the Philips
Consumer Care Center
( 4009200180 ) immediately to
replace the filter.

• The air purification filter is not washable
nor vacuum cleanable.

Take out the pre-filters on both sides
of the appliance.

Take out the air purification filter on
both sides of the appliance using the
tag on the filter and gently put them
into the trash bin.
