Make sure the appliance is switched off.

Slide the massage element off the appliance with
your thumbs (fig. 4).

Remove the epilating head. Grab the epilating head
by the ribbed sections and move it in the direction
of the arrow indicated on the epilating head (fig. 5).

Place the shaving head on the appliance and move it
against the direction of the arrow indicated on the
shaving head until it snaps home (the arrow on the
shaving head will be in line with the arrow on the
body of the appliance) (fig. 6).
The shaving head can only be fitted onto the appliance in
one way.

Switch the appliance on and select speed 1.

Place the shaving head perpendicularly onto your
skin and move the appliance slowly and smoothly
against the direction of hair growth while pressing it
lightly.
Replacing the shaving head
If you use the shaving head two or more times a week,
replace the shaving foil (HP6115) and the cutter block
(HP2911) after one or two years or if these parts are
damaged.
Cleaning and maintenance

Regular cleaning guarantees the best results and a long life
for your appliance.
Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or
cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the appliance.

Remove the epilating head. Grab the epilating head
by the ribbed sections and move it in the direction
of the arrow indicated on the epilating head (fig. 5).

Clean all accessible parts and the epilating discs with
the brush (fig. 7).
Never try to remove the epilating discs from the
epilating head.

Put the epilating head back onto the appliance. The
arrow on the epilating head must be in line with the
arrow on the body of the appliance.
The epilating head can only be fitted onto the appliance
in one way.
Shaving head

Remove the shaving foil.

Clean the hair chamber and the cutter block with
the brush. Do not exert pressure on the shaving foil
to avoid damaging it (fig. 8).

Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the trimmers
and shaving foil of the shaving head twice a year.
Storage
.
You can store the Satinelle Massage and its accessories in
the pouch supplied.
Environment
.
The built-in rechargeable batteries contain substances
that may pollute the environment.
Remove the batteries when you discard the appliance.
Do not throw the batteries away with the normal
household waste, but hand them in at an official
collection point. You can also take the appliance to a
Philips service centre, which will remove the batteries for
you and will dispose of them in an environmentally safe
way.

Remove the adapter from the wall socket and let
the appliance run until the batteries are empty.

Remove the epilating head (fig. 5).

Slide the massage element off the appliance.

Remove the type plate located under the epilating
head and the side panels from the appliance by
means of a screwdriver (fig. 9).

Hold the appliance between your hands with your
thumbs on either side of the parting line at the top
of the appliance and pull the two housing halves
apart with your thumbs until the snap connections
break. Remove the holder with the components
(motor, printed circuit board and batteries) from
the housing halves (fig. 10).

Pull the two oval-shaped batteries out of the holder
and twist them to break the wires (fig. 11).

Lift the motor out of the holder with a screwdriver
(fig. 12).
Do not try to reassemble the appliance in order to run it
from the mains. It would be dangerous to do so.
