Real Flat Black Line S
Philips TV picture tube provides non–distorted picture quali-
ty, while offering a wider viewing angle without light reflec-
tions.Thanks to the highly pigmented phosphors, the bright-
ness and contrast performance are considerably improved
compared to conventional picture tubes.
Pixel Plus
Pixel Plus creates near High Definition (HD) performance inside
the TV on the basis of a regular input signal. By increasing the
number of lines and by doubling the number of pixels on a line. In
combination with dynamic SCAVEM, Pixel Plus enhances both
broadcast signals and DVD or Digital TV input towards near HD
resolution and natural detail.
Digital Natural Motion
Building upon 100 Hz technology Philips invented Digital
Natural Motion to eliminate juddering effects that are vis-
ible with moving picture content. Digital Natural Motion
estimates motion in the picture and corrects juddering
movements in both broadcast and movie material (DVD).
Smooth motion reproduction and excellent sharpness are
the result.
Digital CrystalClear
A unique package of picture innovations including
Combfilter, Scavem, Dynamic Contrast, Color
Enhancement and Luminance Transient Processing. Digital
Crystal Clear, using 10 bit processing, offers 30% more
contrast, natural colors and a high level of detail.
Full Active Control
Active Control automatically analyses, 50 times per sec-
ond, the incoming signal and adjusts the key picture set-
tings on Sharpness, Digital Noise Reduction, Color,
Contrast and Picture Format.The ambient light sensor
adjusts the settings according to the viewing conditions in
the room. Active Control thus offers the best possible pic-
ture settings any time, any source.
Dolby Digital
The multi-channel Dolby Digital audio system offers state
of the art cinema ambiance with digital precision and
quality. 5 separate channels and a subwoofer (5.1) offer
digital quality sound with pin-point accuracy in an
enlarged listening area. Naturally the system also perfectly
reproduces Dolby Pro-logic and Stereo materials. Philips
Dolby Digital comes with unique FM wireless technology
with Quartz PLL tuning offering a bandwidth of 20Hz-
20kHz.
