5.4 Trouble-shooting

In case of unsuccessful lock, check the following points :

DSP code must be loaded every time a new DUT is plugged in (in the case of TU1216).

Check channel configuration settings.

Have the power supply connections been done properly?

Is there any current limitation on the +5.0Volts power supply? 0.5A current is needed.

Press the I

C check button to verify that I

C communications are correct.

In the control software window (press the configuration button), check the type of tuner used (should be set

to PHILIPS).

Is the tuner in lock? (First, allow the software to read the tuner registers).

Is the gain in an automatic configuration? Is the RF input level correct?

Is the spectral inversion forced or in automatic search configuration?
