Keypad text entry
With the alphanumeric keypad, you can use a
number of text entry methods, including T9
input, multi-tap input, numeric input and symbol
input.
Select text entry methods

On the editing screen, push up the slide, if
necessary, to select the entry through the
alphanumeric keypad.

During text editing, press

The text editor remembers the last input
method you have used before you exit the
editing screen. When you access the editor
again, it will automatically select the last input
method you have used.
