Answer machine remote access code

A three-digit answer machine security code is required for remote access.
The factory preset code is „000“. You can change it to a unique code of your own.

To change the remote access code (000 by default),

1. Press

on the handset.

2. Select

ANS MACHINE

and press

OK

.

3. Select

CHANGE CODE

and press

OK

.

4. Enter the current code and press

OK

.

5. Enter the new code and press

OK

.

6. Repeat the new code and press

OK

to confirm.

Remote access

You can access your answering machine when you are away from home by using a touch tone phone.
To remotely access the answering machine,
1. Place a call from an external line to your answering machine.

2. When the answering machine answers the call and starts playing the outgoing message, press

.

3. Enter the answer machine remote access code.

The code entered is correct

: The remote access is activated once the correct answer machine

remote access code is entered.

The code entered is incorrect

: You have three attempts to enter the correct answer machine

remote access code or the connection will be lost.

4. Press a key anytime to carry out the desired function.

Note :

This remote access code is different from the base PIN which is used to register/un-register

handsets.

Note :

If the answering machine is originally off, the answering machine will emit one beep after 10 rings.

Press

, and then proceed to step 3.

Note :

If you are lost during remote access, press

twice to stop the current operation and start

again.

The connection will be lost if no key is pressed within 8 seconds from the last key pressed.
