Adjust the source selector to your desired sound source:
OFF/
TAPE•TUNER•CD

Adjust the sound using the
VOLUME
,
INCREDIBLE
SURROUND
and
OFF•DYNAMIC BASS BOOST•ULTRA
BASS
controls.
3.
To switch off the set, adjust the source selector to
OFF/TAPE
position and check that the cassette keys are released.
Note:
When the set is switched off the tuner presets will be
retained in the set's memory.

Adjust the source selector to
TUNER
.
2.
Press
BAND
once or more to select your wave band.
3.
To tune to radio stations, press the
SEARCH
controls
∞
or
§
until the frequency in the display starts running, then
release the control.
–
Srch
appears in the display and the radio automatically
tunes to a station of sufficient reception.
4.
Repeat if necessary until you find the desired station.

To tune a weak transmitter
, briefly press
∞
or
§
until
you have found optimum reception or the correct frequency.
– When
STEREO
appears in the display, you are receiving a FM-
stereo transmitter.
To improve radio reception
• For
FM
, pull out the telescopic aerial. Incline and turn the
aerial. Reduce its length if the signal is too strong (very close
to a transmitter).
• For
MW (AM)
and
LW
, the set is provided with a built-in
aerial so the telescopic aerial is not needed. Direct the aerial
by turning the whole set.
