9 Configure the channels
What the guest or the user actually access are program numbers. The TV
has program numbers 1 - 250 available. Any channel, or external input,
analog or digital can be mapped to any program number, giving the hotel
complete flexibility of channel mapping. For example, local channels could
be mapped to programs 1 - 9; News channels could be mapped to the
teens, Sports channels to the 20s etc.
Select the mode for signal reception

Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

Press to select CABLE TUNING .

Press to select one of the following:
• YES : To receive TV signals from a cable.
•
NO : To receive TV signals from an antenna.

• This option is available only when you select
CHANNEL INSTALL >
CHANNEL > INPUT > TUNER .
This section explains how to assign program numbers to be the same as the
program numbers that the guest can assess on the remote control.

Select a virtual or physical channel
It is always recommended physical channels by setting USE CHANNEL
TABLE to NO .

Select a channel ring
Channels are organized in rings in Philips commercial televisions. To make
the channels visible to the guest, they must be assigned to the same ring that
the television is set to display as the current ring.
