STEP ONE
WALL FITTING FOR WOOD STRUCTURE (eg STUD WALLING)
Note: the wall plate MUST be mounted on TWO wood studs. Use a high quality stud sensor to locate two adjascent
studs. Use a thin nail to ensure you have correctly located the stud.. Use the wall plate to mark 4 drilling positions on the
studs. After predrilling, fit the wall mount to the studs using an appropriate bolt/screw and the supplied wall bolt washer
ensuring that the flat surface in the centre of the plate is against the wall..
STEP TWO
- FITTING THE TV RAILS TO THE TELEVISION
Position the TV rails on the back of the television so that they are of equal distance to the top of the telivision, as close
to the centre of the television as possible and the TV rail knobs are facing outwards.
Fit the rails to your television using the provided M4, M5 or M8 bolts. Your television may be supplied with its own fixing
bolts, in which case you should use those. If there are no bolts supplied with your television and the bolts provided do
not fit, please contact your television manufacturer for advise for what specification of bolt to use and purchase from
your local hardware store.
If your television has a curved or recessed back panel you should us the supplied plastic spacers (part f). Should the
fixing bolts be too long, you can use the M4/M5 washers. Ensure the bolts are fully tightened.
WALL FITTING FOR CONCRETE/BRICK WALLS
Use the wall plate to mark at least 4 drilling positions on the solid wall. After predrilling, fit the wall mount to the studs
using an appropriate bolt/screw and the supplied wall bolt washer ensuring that the flat surface in the centre of the plate
is against the wall.
