As soon as the timer is fi nished, a sound will be made and the timer display will start fl ashing. The sound will
automatically stop after 2 minutes and/or after any button is pressed.
You can change the minute timer at any time or turn it off using the timer setting button and/or the decrease
time button . If you turn off the appliance using the main power switch , you will also turn off the minute
timer.
Hotplate timer (1.99 min)
When the appliance is turned on you can set the timer for each hotplate separately.
Select a hotplate for which you wish to activate the timer, then set the temperature and fi nally press the timer
setting button. The timer for the given hotplate will be activated as the automatic hotplate shut off function.
There are four LED indicator lights around this timer. These indicator lights show for which hotplates the timer
has been activated.
10 seconds after the last step, the timer display will show a timer, which will elapse next (if more than 1 hotplate
is turned on).
As soon as the timer is fi nished, a sound will be made and "00" will be shown on the display. The LED indicator
light of the timer for the respective hotplate will start fl ashing. The hotplate will turn off and "H" will appear on
the display indicating that the hotplate is dangerously hot.
The sound and the fl ashing LED indicator light will automatically stop after 2 minutes and/or after any button
is pressed.
Button sound
When the appliance is in operation, the following events will be accompanied by a sound:

A short sound will be made when a button is pressed.

Holding down a button for a longer duration (10 seconds) will be accompanied by a long uninterrupted
sound.
Boost function
The Boost function makes it possible to cook faster than when using the maximum selected level. Thi s function
will temporarily increase the maximum power of a select hotplate.
Select the respective hotplate, set the desired temperature and press the (Boost) button.
The Boost function can be turned on, if the induction module enables such a setting for the respective hotplate.
When the Boost function is turned on, the "P" symbol will be shown on the display.
NOTE:
Under certain circumstances the Boost function can turn itself off to prevent damaging electronic
components inside the cooktop.
