Installation
Single phase broad
range voltage motor

The mains voltage must be determined on-site each time before the pump is in-
stalled or moved to a different location.

Changing the voltage range
Î
Disconnect the pump from the power supply.
Î
Set the rocker switch "S" in the motor terminal box to the desired voltage range.
WARNING
Danger of injury from moving parts!
After power failure or motor shutdown due to overheating, the motor may restart auto-
matically.
Î
Secure the motor so that it cannot be switched on while any work is being performed
on the pump.
Î
If necessary, dismantle the pump from the installation for inspection.
NOTE
The transmission power of the pump’s magnetic coupling is so great that there
is no overload protection for the motor.
NOTE
Overvoltage!
An incorrect voltage range setting can damage the motor.
Î
Disconnect the pump from the power supply.
Î
Only change the voltage range when the pump is disconnected from the power
mains.
