Establish the mains supply
1. Order a corresponding mains connection cable from the Pfeiffer Vacuum accessories range.
2. Always ensure a secure connection to the earthed conductor (PE).
3. Plug the mains cable into the power supply plug of the vacuum pump.
On-site protection
The vacuum pump has an internal fuse 10 A TT.
► Recommendation: Always provide a 16 amp fuse as protection for the motor in the event of a mal-
function.
5.6 Installing a residual current circuit breaker
In the event of an insulation fault, installation of a residual current circuit breaker ensures protection
against personal injury.
