Preparations

Place the thread from left to right through the take-up lever

(19).

Important: The take-up lever must be at its highest position.

Guide the thread to the right under thread guide C. Wind the beginning of the thread several times around the bobbin in a

clockwise direction. Push the bobbin to the right. Hold the end of the thread

rmly and press the foot control.

Changing the needle

Switch off the main switch

To remove: Lower the presser foot and set the needle to its

highest position. Loosen the needle screw (32) and pull the

needle out downwards.

To insert: The

at side A of the

needle must face to the rear. Lower

the presser foot and insert the needle,

pushing it up as far as it will go. Hold

the needle and tighten the needle
