Bobbin-case-opener eccentric and retaining lug
Requirements
1. With the needle bar at BDC the bobbin case opener

must be at its rear point of
reversal.
2. The front edges of retaining spring

and retaining lug

must be flush.

Bring the needle bar to BDC.

Turn eccentric

) in accordance with
requirement 1

Move retaining spring

) in accordance with
requirement 2
.
When tightening screws

, press the hook downwards and eccentric

upwards so that the hook shaft does not exhibit any axial play.
