Read all instructions. For safe operation, read and understand all instructions before using 
this product. Follow all safety instructions. Failure to follow all safety instructions can 
result in serious personal injury or death.  Do not allow children or untrained individuals 
to use Human Hoist. 
 
Check the work area before each use - Remove all objects such as stones, tools, fasteners, 
hoses, or cords which can impede movement or become entangled in the chair.  Protect 
your eyes. Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI 
Z87.1. Protect your lungs. Always wear a face or dust mask if the operation is dusty. 
Following these rules will reduce the risk of serious personal injury. Wear an appropriate 
bump cap or hard hat if there is a chance of your head injury while using Human Hoist. 
 
Dress Properly – Use of substantial footwear is recommended when using Human Hoist.  
Do not wear loose fitting clothing, short pants, sandals, or go barefoot. Secure long hair 
above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts. Keep children and animals 
away – Keep all bystanders, children, and pets at least 10 ft. away.  
 
Stay alert – Do not operate this unit when you are tired, ill, or under the influence of 
alcohol, drugs, or medication. Do not operate in poor lighting. Keep all parts of your 
body away from any moving part.   
 
Avoid Dangerous Environments - Don’t expose Human Hoist to rain or wet conditions.  
Do not operate Human Hoist in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of 
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. 
 
Use the correct tool for your application while using Human Hoist. The correct tool will 
do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed. Don’t force movement, if 
Human Hoist will not move, determine why before applying extra force 
 
Do not overreach – Keep your balance. Overreaching can result in loss of balance and 
potential injury. 
 
Do not use Human Hoist if switch trigger does not turn it on or off, or properly control 
the speed.  Disconnect battery packs from Human Hoist before storing, cleaning, or 
changing accessories. Use only Genuine Human Hoist replacement parts and accessories. 
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.  Maintain Human 
Hoist with care – Remove from service for any malfunction or damage. Failure to do so 
can cause serious injury. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Follow 
instructions for changing accessories.  
 
Make sure all guards, straps, deflectors and handles are properly and securely attached.  
Use only Genuine Human Hoist accessories. Maintain a firm grip on both handles while 
raising or lowering Human Hoist.  
 
Clean after each use. Remove battery packs when not in use. Store out of the reach of 
children. Battery tools do not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore, they 
are always in operating condition. Disconnect battery before servicing, cleaning or
