ETPOINTS
A. Set Point and Calibration Potentiometers
1. Disconnect power from the Model 225 Cooler before removing cover.
2. Remove the cover. Remove the Thermocouples from TB 1 and TB 8.
The Thermocouple Generator should not be connected to either of the
thermocouple inputs at this time. WARNING: Before connecting power
to the Model 225 Cooler, be aware of the HAZARDOUS LIVE
VOLTAGE on the Control Board.
3. Connect power to the Model 225 cooler. After 10 to 20 seconds, both
of the Red LEDs D1 and D9 (thermocouple failure indicators) should
be on.
B. CHANNEL 1
1. Connect the Thermocouple Generator to the Channel One
Thermocouple Input, (TB1 left-hand side terminal), the Yellow Wire to
the terminal marked Y and the Red Wire to the terminal marked R.
Connect a Voltmeter between ground and TP3, the Red Lead to TP3
and the Black Lead to the negative side of C33 (right side of the
capacitor). Set the thermocouple generator to 0o C. Set the voltmeter
to 20 VDC range.
2. Adjust POT 1 (the Zero Pot) to obtain a 0 VDC reading on the
Voltmeter.
3. Set the Thermocouple Generator to 10°C.
4. Adjust POT 2 (the Span Pot) to obtain a -1.0 VDC reading on the
Voltmeter.
5. Move the Positive Lead (red lead) of the Voltmeter to TP 2.
6. Adjust POT 4 (the ready pot) to obtain a -1.0 VDC reading on the
Voltmeter.
7. Move the Positive Lead (red lead) of the Voltmeter to TP 1.
8. Adjust POT 3 (the temp pot) to obtain a -.5 VDC reading on the
Voltmeter.
