When replacement parts are required for this
product Perkins recommends using Perkins re-
placement parts or parts with equivalent specifi-
cations including, but not limited to, physical
dimensions, type, strength, and material.

Failure to heed this warning can lead to prema-
ture failures, product damage, personal injury, or
death.

Quality Perkins replacement parts are available from
Perkins dealers throughout the world. Perkins
dealers parts inventories are up-to-date. The parts
stocks include all the parts that are normally needed
to protect your Perkins engine investment.

When you order parts, specify the following
information:

• Part number

• Part name

• Quantity

If there is a question concerning the part number,
provide your dealer with a complete description of the
needed item.

When a Perkins engine requires maintenance and/or
repair, provide the dealer with all the information that
is stamped on the Information Plate. This information
is described in this Operation and Maintenance
Manual (Product Information Section).

Discuss the problem with the dealer. Inform the
dealer about the conditions of the problem and the
nature of the problem. Inform the dealer about when
the problem occurs, this information will help the
dealer in troubleshooting the problem and solving the
problem faster.
