Improperly disposing of waste can threaten the
environment. Potentially harmful fluids should be
disposed of according to local regulations.
Always use leakproof containers when you drain
fluids. Do not pour waste onto the ground, down a
drain, or into any source of water.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) may cause eye irritation
and can be moderately irritating to the skin. Exposure
to decomposition products may cause a health
hazard. Serious effects may be delayed following
exposure.
DEF is not expected to produce significant adverse
health effects when the recommended instructions
for use are followed.
• Do not breathe DEF vapor or mist.
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using DEF.
• Avoid DEF contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
• Wash thoroughly after handling DEF.

Coolant
When
the
engine
is
at
operating
temperature,

engine
coolant
is
hot.
The
coolant
is
also

pressure.
The
radiator
and
all
lines
to
the
heaters

to

engine
contain
hot
coolant.

contact
with
hot
coolant
or
with
steam
can
cause
severe
burns.
Allow
cooling
system
components
to
cool
before
the
cooling
system
is
drained.
Check
that
the
coolant
level
after
the
engine
has
stopped
and
the
engine
has
been
allowed
to
cool.
Ensure
that
the
filler
cap
is
cool
before
removing
the
filler
cap.
The
filler
cap
must
be
cool
enough
to
touch
with
a
bare
hand.
Remove
the
filler
cap
slowly
in
order
to
relieve
pressure.
Cooling
system
conditioner
contains
alkali.
Alkali
can
cause
