Using The Smart Clamp
1. Connect the smarts clamps to the jump starter power bank battery. Check
the indicator LEDs on the smart clamp for the following:
a. If the red indicator LED on the smart clamp lights up, there may be
insufficient change in the jump starter. Recharge power bank and try again.
b. If smart clamps alarm, disconnect the clamps and check connections for
correct polarity. An audible alarm means there is a short circuit or reverse
polarity.
c. In case of any of the above, disconnect the clamps and reconnect properly.
d. If red and green indictor LEDs stay on the vehicle may require more current
that the jump starter can provide. Compare the required amperage of your
vehicle with the jump starter. A larger capacity jump starter may be required.
2. Alternating red and green indicator LEDs on the smart clamp indicate there
is sufficient charge.
3. Once attached, the green indicator on the clamps should stay on, indicating
sufficient charge and proper connection. Your vehicle is ready to jump.
4. After proper connection, smart clamp will shut off automatically after 30
seconds. Reconnect if vehicle still needs to be jump started.
5. Red indicator LED will blink and clamps will alarm after a successful jump.
