14. Troubleshooting
problem cause solution
The motor does not work.
Faulty power cable. Replace or repair.
Faulty motor. Replace or repair.
Faulty switch. Replace or repair.
The pilot light does not burn.
There is no spark.
Adjust the distance between the
electrode and the burner or
replace the burner.
Low gas level. Replace the gas cylinder.
Faulty gas valve. Replace or repair.
Closed security valve.
Press the button to activate the
security valve.
The pilot light dies out seconds
after being ignited.
Disordered thermocouple.
Adjust the thermocouple according
to the burner.
The valve has been insufficiently
activated.
Repeat the switch-on procedure.
Faulty thermocouple or valve. Replace or repair.
Overheated device.
Leave the heater to cool down for
5 minutes before switching on.
The flame dies out while the
heater is switched on.
Insufficient gas feeding volume. Replace the gas cylinder.
The device is overheating.
Insufficient airflow toward the
heater. Ventilate the room in
which the heater is being used.
The pilot light has bright and
yellow spots.
Faulty air feeding at the burner.
Free the airflow toward the heater
or ventilate the room in which the
heater is being used.
Excessive gas flow toward the
burner.
Check the pressure and/or replace
the pressure regulator on the gas
cylinder.
