Main serial interface - RS 485 half-duplex

The RS 485 half-duplex interface (3 wires + screen) is used for polled communication
protocols.

It can be used for multidrop connections in a master/slave layout.

The connector pinout follows:

Auxiliary interface - RS 232

The auxiliary serial interface is used exclusively for RS 232 point-to-point
connections. It is also used for configuring the VB12 scanner.

For this interface type, the multidrop address must also be set via serial
channel by the VisoSetup utility or by ESC sequences.

The parameters relative to the auxiliary interface (baud rate, data bits,
etc.) can be defined using the VisoSetup utility program.
