Prior to the initial commissioning of the handheld 

terminal 

In order to ensure that the battery inserted into the device at the factory is fully charged, insert 
the device into the docking station, also see Point 13.4. Using the power supply unit, connect 
the docking station to the mains (Power LED shows a green light). 

The battery charging process has been complete when the “CHARGE” LED shows a  green 
light. You can now use the handheld terminal.
