Line Fault Diagnostics
If the line fault detection is enabled (mandatory, see datasheet), the input circuit is monitored
in all device versions. If a line fault is detected, the outputs change in the fault state (safe state).
Reaction Time

The response time for the safety function between input and output is < 0.1 ms.

HiC283*R1: 24 V, 2 k
•
HiC283*R2: 24 V, 250
•
HiC283*R3: 24 V, 4.2 k

HiC283*R4: 10 mA current source

HiC283*R5: 24V, 200

•
The fault detect and fault reaction time is < 100 ms. A fault diagnostics at the input leads
to fault state
