The CP345 and its rear I/O modules can operate under the following operating systems:

Drivers are supplied for these operating systems.

5.1 Non-Optoisolated Rear I/O Module

The CP-RIO-345 rear I/O module is a high speed, 4-channel serial I/O device support-
ing the RS232, RS422 and RS485 industry standards. The CP-RIO-345 is provided with
the following key features.

•

32-bit CompactPCI board, 33 MHz

•

Up to 1 MBaud asynchronous transmission

•

4 independent serial channels

•

RJ45 connector block (one connector for each channel)

•

RS232, RS422, and RS485 standards

•

Each channel individually programmable per software

•

Bus termination resistors (RS422/RS485) software selectable

•

Control LED’s both on the module’s and mainboard’s frontpanels

•

Jumperless configuration

•

Windows NT

, QNX

and VxWorks

drivers

The supply voltage for the module is 5V DC.
