Setting the Shooting Functions

Capture mode is for taking pictures and Playback mode is for playing
back or deleting images.

• To change from Capture mode to Playback mode, press the

Playback button.

• To change from Playback mode to Capture mode, press the

Playback button or press the shutter release button halfway.

Capture Modes

Turn the mode dial and match the
indicator with one of the following:

Changing the Mode

Switching between Capture Mode and Playback Mode

In Capture mode, pressing and holding the

Playback button for two

seconds or more switches the mode to the Playback mode, and the lens
is retracted.
