maintenance procedures, list and diagram of parts.
Keep your invoice together with this manual. Write
the invoice number on the inside of the front. Store
manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for
future use.
Safety and precautions
WARNING: Basic safety precautions should always
be followed when using the tool to reduce the risk
of personal injury and other injuries.
Read all instructions before using this tool!
1. Keep the work surface clean. Disorder might
cause injury.
2. Observe the conditions in the work area. Do not
use machines or power tools in damp or wet
places. Do not expose to rain. Keep the work
area properly lit. Do not use power tools in the
presence of flammable gases or liquids.
3. Keep children away. Children should never be
allowed in the work area. Do not allow them to
handle machines, tools or extension cords.
4. Store unused equipment. When not in use,
store tools in a dry place so it does not get
attacked by rust. Always lock tools and keep
away from children.
5. Do not force the tool. It will make the job better
and safer in the capacity it was intended for.
Do not use inappropriate accessories in an
attempt to exceed the capacity of the tool.
6. Use the right tools for the job. Do not try to get
a small tool or accessory to do the job of a
larger industrial tool. Do not modify this tool or
use it for a purpose for which it was not
intended.
7. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewelry, as they may get caught in moving
parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive
clothing and non-slip shoes are recommended
during work. Wear hair protection to keep long
hair away.
8. Wear eye and hearing protection. Always wear
ANSI-approved safety goggles. Wear a full face
shield if you produce metal shavings or wood
chips. Wear an ANSI-approved face mask or
respirator when working near metal, wood, and
chemical dust and fog liquids.
9. Do not stretch. Keep your feet on the ground
and keep your balance. Do not extend over or
along machines in operation. Keep hands and
fingers away from rollers when in use.
10. Maintain tools properly. Keep tools sharp and
clean for better and safer performance. Follow
the instructions for lubrication and replacement
of accessories. Regularly inspect tool cords
and, if damaged, have them repaired by an
authorized technician. The handle must always
be kept clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
11. Remove adjustable keys and knobs. Before
engaging it, make sure that keys and adjustable
knobs are removed from the tool or the
machine’s work surface.
12. Be alert. Keep track of what you do and use
common sense. Do not use tools when you are
tired.
