Safety and precautions
WARNING: Basic safety precautions should always
be followed when using the tool to reduce the risk
of personal injury and other injuries.
Read all instructions before using this tool!

Keep the work surface clean.
•
Keep children away. Children should never be
allowed in the work area. Do not allow them to
handle machines, tools or extension cords.
•
Store unused equipment. When they
•
not used, tools should be stored in a dry place
so as not to be attacked by rust. Always lock
tools and keep away from children.
•
Do not force the tool. It will make the job better
and safer in the capacity it was intended for.
Do not use inappropriate accessories in an
attempt to exceed the capacity of the tool.

Use the right tools for the job. Do not try to get
a small tool or accessory to do the job of a
larger industrial tool. Do not modify this tool or
use it for a purpose for which it was not inten
-
ded.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing
•
or jewelry, as they can get caught in moving
parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive
clothing and non-slip shoes are recommended
during work. Wear hair protection to keep long
hair away.

Do not stretch. Keep your feet on the ground
and keep your balance. Do not extend over or
along machines in operation. Keep hands and
fingers away from rollers when in use.

Maintain tools properly. Hold tools sharp and
cleaned for better and safer performance.
Follow the instructions for lubrication and
replacement of accessories. Regularly inspect
tool cords and, if damaged, have them repaired
by an authorized technician. The handle must
always be kept clean, dry and free of oil and
grease.

Be alert. Keep track of what you do and use
common sense. Do not use tools when you are
tired.
•
See if there are any damaged parts. If you use
a tool, all parts that look damaged must be
carefully checked to see if they can be used
properly and perform the intended function.
Check the connection and brackets of moving
parts; broken parts or mounting accessories;
and any other condition that may affect proper
operation. All damaged parts must be repaired
or replaced by a qualified technician.

Spare parts and accessories. Use only identical
spare parts when servicing. To use of other
parts invalidates the warranty. Use only access

ories that are intended for use with this tool.

Do not use the tool if you have been drinking
alcohol or taking medication. Read warning
texts if you are taking prescription medication
to determine if your judgment or reflexes are
impaired while you are taking the medication. If
in doubt, do not use the tool.

Maintenance. For your safety, service and ma

intenance should be performed regularly by a
qualified technician.
•
The workpiece may be sharp. Be careful after
bending or cutting workpieces. Watch out for
sharp edges or sharp metal fragments that may
occur. Wear sturdy gloves when handling the
workpiece.
