Instructions

Warning

: The warnings and instructions discussed 

in this manual may not cover all possible condi-

tions and situations that may arise. It must be un-

derstood by the operator that common sense and 

caution are factors that can not be built into this 

product but must be provided by the operator.

Warning

Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 450 kg.

1. 

Always use the stand on a hard, flat surface 

that can maintain the load.

2. 

Never work directly under a suspended engine.

3. 

Do not attempt to move the stand when it is 

under load. The wheels are not designed for 

rolling when the stand carries a heavy weight. If 

you need to move the engine, you must transfer 

it to an approved, suitable mobile device, e.g. a 

motor lift.

4. 

Make sure the stand is stable. Before using the 

stand, check it for cracks, bends in the metal 

or signs of unusual wear. If there are any, do 

not use the stand. Contact Verktygsboden for 

service or repair.

5. 

Do not attempt to remove an engine from a 

vehicle using this unit. Use a motor lift (not 

included). Read all safety warnings and instruc-

tions that come with the engine lift.

6. 

Be careful not to pinch your fingers and hands 

when adjusting and using the motor stand.

7. 

Make sure that the load is centered and fixed 

on the mounting plate.

8. 

Do not release suddenly as it may damage the 

device.

9. 

Make sure that all nuts and bolts are properly 

mounted and tightened before each use. Do not 

replace the hardware provided.

10. 

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions 

could result in loss of cargo and / or personal 

injury or property damage.

Inspection

1. 

Visual inspection should be performed before 

each use of the motor stand.

2. 

Any motor stand that appears to be damaged in 

any way, turns out to be worn or does not work 

normally must be taken out of service.

3. 

If the motor stand is accidentally subjected to 

an abnormal load or shock, it must be inspec-

ted by a qualified technician immediately.

4. 

It is recommended that an annual inspection of 

the engine stand be performed and that defecti-

ve parts / decals or warning labels be replaced.

Assembly instructions

Warning

: During the assembly procedure, nuts and 

bolts should only be tightened by hand. When the 

assembly is complete, nuts and bolts must be tigh-

tened completely.

1.  Attach two front wheels (# 19) to the front 

beam (# 20) with nuts (# 17) and lock was-

hers (# 18).

2.  Attach the front beam (# 20) to the center 

beam (# 16) using bolts (# 9), nuts (# 11) 

and lock washers (# 10).

3.  Attach the main post (# 5) to the rear beam 

(# 14) using bolts (# 9), nuts (# 11) and 

lock washers (# 10) ..,

4.  Insert the middle beam (# 16) on the main 

post pipe (# 5) and secure it with a bolt (# 

15).

5.  Insert the rotating plate (# 3) through the 

tube at the top of the main post. Rotate 

the plate until one of the holes in the inner 

tube aligns with a hole in the outer tube and 

insert the ringed pin (# 4).

6.  Insert the handle (# 1) through the hole in 

the rotating plate tube protruding from the 

top of the main post.

7.  Attach four pins (# 2) to the rotating head 

(# 3) using bolts (# 8), flat washers (# 6) 

and nuts (# 7).

8.  Make sure all bolts are tightened before 

using it.

rubbish. All machines, accessories 

and packaging must be sorted and left 

at a recycling center and disposed  

of in an environmentally friendly  

manner.
