Installation and Operating Instructions
Easyclick Wall Transmitter

Art. no.:

450 FU-BLS 2-channel and 450 FU-BLS JR 2-channel
455 FU-BLS 4-channel and 455 FU-BLS JR 4-channel

Easyclick wall transmitters are a part of the Easyclick radio
system developed by PEHA. The Easyclick switching re-
ceivers can establish a wireless connection to consumers
with the press of a button in the

batteryless

 and

service-free

wall transmitters. When pressing the wall transmitter button,
a piezo energy transducer is activated via a bow contact. The
mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy when
the button is pressed or released and used for transmitting a
radio signal. The radio signal contains the unambiguous 32 bit
ID of the transmitter and data for the receiver.
The radio transmission is at the European harmonized
frequency of 868.3 MHz. At this frequency, only products
are permitted that transmit 1% = 36 sec. per hour. This reduces the risk of
interference to a minimum.

The Easyclick radio system is particularly suitable in areas where no repairs are
wanted such as renovations, retrofitting electrical systems or offices with
mobile walls.
Refer to the operating instructions for the Easyclick switching receiver to learn
how to use the Easyclick wall transmitter. A transmitter may not be more than
5 m from a switching receiver in programming mode since the receiver then
would operate with a restricted range.

Mounting

1. Screws

(please only use the accompanying screws)

- Use the bottom housing part as a template and mark the drill holes
- To prevent dirt from entering the radio module, place the bottom housing part

in the packaging

- Drill 5 mm plug holes
- Affix the bottom housing part with the provided screws and take note of Top

!

on the radio module

- Lock the top housing part
- Carefully snap in rocker(s), position 1, or downward arrow

2. Gluing

The wall transmitters can be adhered to flat, smooth surfaces such as gloss,
painted wall, tiles, furniture, wood, etc. using the accompanying two-sided adhe-
sive film (replacement film available upon request).
- Place the film on the bottom housing part
- adhere to a suitable surface, take note of Top

!

 on the radio module

- Lock the top housing part
- Carefully snap in rocker(s), position 1, or downward arrow

Legal Provisions

Installation is only permitted by authorized professionals. The power to the
system must be turned off when connecting the devices. The following points
must be observed:
- Observe applicable laws, standards and regulations.
- ensure the state of the art at the time of installation.
- follow the operating instructions for the Easyclick transmitters and receivers
- note that operating instructions can only provide general guidelines, and that

they must be considered in the context of a specific system

Note:

The modules may

not

be used with devices that directly or indirectly

affect human health or safety, or that could endanger humans, animals or
property.
These operating instructions are an essential part of the equipment and our
conditions of warrantee. They must be provided to the user. The technical design
of the equipment can change without prior notification.
If a defect should be determined, you may return your PEHA Easyclick product
together with a clear description of the problem (type of use, connected
load, determined defect, etc.) to your PEHA distributor.

Technical Data on the Easyclick Wall Transmitter

Transmission range

The main factors that influence the transmission range of the Easyclick radio
system are the antenna location of the receivers and transmitters, the building
structure, and the obstacles in the connection path. Other factors are noise that
affect the reception, and dead spots that are caused by reflected signals of
nearby conductive objects. Since the anticipated transmission range strongly
depends on these system conditions, range tests should be performed before a
specific range of an application is indicated.

The following transmission ranges are to be viewed as general guidelines:
- in a free field

approx. 300 m

- in halls

approx. 200 m

- in corridors

approx. 50 m

- Drywall/wood (max. 7)

approx. 30 m

- Tile and cellular concrete (max. 3)

approx. 20 m

- Reinforced concrete walls/ceilings (max. 1)

approx. 10 m

Transmission range limited by:
- Insulation on metal film
- Intermediate ceilings with metal or carbon fiber panels
- Lead glass or metal-coated glass
- Mounting Wall Transmitters on Metal Walls

Error analysis for malfunctions in a new or pre-existing system

Check the following:

- system voltage of the receiver
- whether the receiver is receiving an radio signal
- whether the receiver is connected according to the circuit diagram
- the operation of the connected consumers
- Delete the all programmed transmitters in the receiver, and reprogram

the receiver

The receiver independently turns ON and OFF:

- The system independently turns ON. This can only occur when an outside

transmitter is activated within the reception range that was previously pro-
grammed in the receiver. Delete all transmitters in the receiver, and reprogram
the functions.

- The system independently turns OFF. This can have the same cause as

described above, or be the result of a brief power failure.

In pre-existing system:

- Check if any changes changes have been made around the system that could

generate problems (metal cabinets, walls or furniture has been moved, etc.).
If possible, restore things to their original status.

A transmitter does not work:

- Take the transmitter and move toward the receiver.
- Check if the transmitter receives a radio command
- If the system still works at a closer distance, the transmitter was installed

outside of the transmission range, or there was interference.
Mount the sensor at a better location.

- If the system still does not work, check the programming, or delete it and

reprogram the receiver.
