6. HDD INSTALLATION
Please ensure that the HDD is firmly connected with the HDD Rack Bay.
1) The jumper pin setting of the HDD
must be set to Master. For HDD’s
pin settings, please refer to your
HDD’s manual. Firmly connect the
HDD into the HDD Rack Bay.
2) Turn over the HDD Rack bay and
connect IDE first, then connect
Power. Check though the hole if the
connection is correct
3) Secure the hard drive by
fastening the screws included with
the package. Tighten the screws
from the bottom onto the hard drive.
Make sure you use all two screws to
mount the hard drive.
4) Secure the Rack by fastening the
screws included with the package.
Make sure you use all two screws to
mount Set.
Note:
Do not replace the HDD while the unit is in Recording.
