The Sanctuary Series™ SA-4200™ power amplifier with Auto Delay provides the tools necessary to easily install and
align loudspeaker systems requiring delay. The delay can be set using any of three different methods. The installer
can use his own test equipment to manually adjust the delay, or the delay test circuitry built into the SA-4200
can be used to manually or automatically set the delay. The Auto Delay circuitry sets the delay by measuring and
comparing the times for reference signals to travel to a microphone in the delayed listening position from the main
and auxiliary loudspeaker systems. The SA-4200 has a delay meter to indicate correct alignment of the main and
auxiliary loudspeakers, taking advantage of the Haas Precedent Effect. Pressing the AUTO set button automatically
sets the delay for correct alignment. Once set, the delay can be locked to prevent accidental adjustment.
