Machine Startup
Sever Hazard!
Do not operate if guards are
removed.
Moving parts can sever hands and fingers.
Do not remove guards.
Read and understand the machine
operations manual before operating.
Failure to comply could result in death or
serious injury.
Verify all employees, other than the operator, are clear.
Ensure all operators are wearing the appropriate protective gear.
Pearson Packaging Systems assumes no responsibility for any

1.
Ensure all guard doors are closed.
2.
Turn on the main safety disconnect switch.
3.
Turn on the external air source. Air will not pass the dump valve until the
Machine Start button is depressed.
4.
Pull out all Emergency Stop Buttons.
5.
Press the Machine Start Button.
