5.2. Setting the Output Current
1. Turn the power supply on.
2. Refer to Section 5.1 step 1-6 to give the voltage around 2 - 5V
3. For CH1, turn the
CURRENT COARSE
[10] and
CURRENT FINE
[11] anticlockwise to reach the
minimum current value.
4. Short the + and the -
TERMINALS
[12,14] with a conductor which cross section area is not less
than 0.5mm
2
.
5. Ensure the output indicator is on. Otherwise, press the
Output ON/OFF-KEY
[3]. Then the
CV
INDICASTOR [6] is off and the CC INDICATOR
[5] will turn to orange color.
6. Adjust the
CURRENT COARSE
[10] and the
CURRENT FINE
[11] to get the desired output current.
7. Repress the
Output ON/OFF-KEY
[3] to cut off the output.
8. Then the
CV INDICATOR
[6] will turn to green color.
9. Remove the conductor from the
TERMINALS
[12,14]
10. Set the desired output voltage.
11. Connect the circuit to the
TERMINALS
[12,14]
Remarks:
The conductor is not provided
Caution:
Ensure the current is set to zero before shorting the TERMINALS. Otherwise it will damage the
power supply.
