By connecting the device to a live circuit or a live conductor, a 
pulsating alarm signal sounds. When you hear this signal, 
immediately disconnect the insulation measuring device from the 
circuit or the conductor. In addition to the alarm signal, a warning 
message appears on the LCD display.
