6.6. Inductance measurements

Warning !

To avoid electric shock, disconnect power to the unit under test
and discharge all capacitors before taking any capacitance
measurements. Remove the batteries and unplug the line cords.

1. Set the function switch to the desired Inductance-range

(600µH, 6mH, 60mH, 600mH, 6H)

2. Insert

the red test lead into the “L”-terminal and the black

test

lead into the “L/A”-terminal.

Press “REL”-button to set the display to zero.

4. Connect the test leads crossly to the two ends of inductor

and read the measurement value from the LCD.

Notes:

1. If inductance exceeds the selected

range “OL” will be

displayed on LCD and you shall increase the range by on
step.

2. The inductance value measured for identical inductor may

be different if there is different impedance.

3. Avoid measuring small inductor in high range, or the

accuracy is not guaranteed.
