Important Safety Instructions - Keep for

Please read the operating instructions before use! Please
keep the operating instructions in a safe place!

supervision.

keep children away from the product.
This product can be used by children aged 8 years and
older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the
product and understand the resulting dangers.

Operation of the Creative Trimmer
Remove any staples or paper clips from the document
that you want to trim.
Unfold the baseplate and set it on stable work surface.
Open the transparent cover on the cutting head and
select the desired blade by rotating the silver blade
selector wheel.
When you close the transparent cover, the desired cutting
blade is locked in place. If the cover does not close
completely, please adjust the selector wheel.
Slide the cutting head to one end of the guide rail.
Position the document under the the transparent pressure
plate.
Press the pressure plate with one hand to clamp the
document.
With the other hand, press firmly on the cutting head as
you guide it along the guide rail.
Note: Increased pressure is required when cutting
multiple sheets of paper.
Helpful Hints:
■
Do not exceed the rated capacity of each blade. Doing
so will damage the trimmer and result in imprecise cuts.
■
For precision work, cut as few sheets as possible at
once.
