All PCM Power-Plus “V” Drive transmissions are
designed to be ‘Maintenance Free’. Inspect ﬂ uid
level after the ﬁ rst 25 hours of use and annually
thereafter. Fluid should only be changed if evidence
of contamination is present. Use Mobiltrans SHC 50
synthetic transmission lubricant. PCM P/N: R190250.

1.

Remove the drain/ﬁ ll plug from the transmission.
Observe the ﬂ uid level.

2.

The ﬂ uid level should be at the bottom of the
threaded hole. If low, add the speciﬁ ed ﬂ uid
through the threaded hole to the proper level.

NOTE

: The transmission ﬂ uid is a very high viscosity, to

make adding ﬂ uid easier, remove both ﬁ ll plugs.

3. Replace the drain/ﬁ ll plug(s) and tighten securely.

WARNING

Do not attempt to remove the transmission drain/
ﬁ ll plug while the engine is running or while the
transmission is hot. Hot transmission ﬂ uid could be
sprayed from the hole.
