6 Calibration
A calibration can be reasonable when the scale is moved a lot or when the environmental conditions vary
heavily.
To perform a calibration, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the scale by using the ON/OFF button.
2. Press and hold the CAL button for 2 seconds. The display first shows “CAL” and then a flashing
“0”.
3. Press the CAL button again. The display now shows the max. load of the scale (6,000 g) in
flashing figures.
4. Put a 6 kg calibration weight on top of the platform and press the CAL button one more time. The
display now shows “PASS” and you are redirected to normal measuring mode. The calibration
has been completed.
5. Turn off the scale and then turn it back on by using the ON/OFF button. Take a few
measurements. If you notice or suspect deviations between the measurements, you can repeat
the calibration.
