4.2 PoWER STEERiNG RELoCATioN (2010

MoDELS oNLy)

Locate the power steering assembly 4FU110-

101.

Attach the P/S relocation bracket 4FU010-101

using the hardware provided to the P/S reser-

voir removed in an earlier section. (See

Fig.

4.2-a

Locate the factory 3/4" and 3/8" PS hose and

cut off the 90° bend as shown. (See Fig 4.2b)

Remove the inboard 13MM headed strut mount

nuts and install PS reservoir assembly in loca-

toin shown. Route hoses toward the front of

the vehicle away from exhaust and moving

objects.

. Connect previously installed PS hoses from

reservoir the the factory PS hoses using the

appropriate unions and hose clamps

Using a 3/4" brass union and two stepless

clamps, attach the 90° bend to a length of sup-

plies 3/4" hose as shown. Do the same to the

3/8" hose. (See Fig 4.2-c)

PREPARATION/REMOVAL

Attach the 90° 3/4" and 3/8" you trimmed off

to reservoir using the factory clamps. Attach

the provided 3/4" and 3/8" hose to the 90° hose

using the barb unions and the stepless clamps.
