About Pax towel warmers with Momento™ timer
Pax towel warmers are intended for drying towels or similar textiles washed in water.
The towel warmer can be wiped clean using a damp cloth and detergent. Do not use solvents.
Your towel warmer is equipped with an automatic timer, which enables you to set the operating
times for the warmer. To minimize the warmer’s energy consumption, it is possible to set a
‘once-only timer’ and two automatic timers. The steps involved in setting the timer are
described below.
1. The towel warmer is warm 24 hours a day
When you want the towel warmer to heat continuously 24 hours a day you need only need to set
the main switch to the ‘On’ position; see Figure 1A. The towel warmer will then be warm until the main
switch is set to the ‘Off’ position. All LEDs illuminate red to indicate that the warmer is heating; see
Figure 1B.
2. Once-only timer - heats for six hours ( the main switch must be set to the ‘On’ position)
To activate the towel warmer’s once-only timer, press either button 1 or 2 briefly; see Figure 2A.
When the once-only timer has been activated, the towel warmer will stay warm for six hours and then
stop automatically.
While the towel warmer is heating, the outer LEDs will illuminate red and the two middle LEDs will flash
green to show that the once-only timer is activated, see Figure 2B.
When the six-hour period is over, all LEDs will illuminate blue, indicating that the warmer is no longer
heating; see Figure 2C. To restart the towel warmer, press button 1 or 2 briefly and the warmer will
again heat for another six hours.
The once-only timer can be switched off during a heating period by pressing button 1 or 2 briefly.
3. Auto timer 1 activated once a day ( the main switch must be set to the ‘On’ position)
Programming for Auto timer 1 must be done at the time of day you want the towel warmer to start.
Press and hold button 1 for approximately 3 seconds (see Figure 3A) until the left-hand LED flashes
green three times rapidly, indicating that programming has been completed. When Auto timer 1 has
been activated, the warmer will switch on for the same six-hour period every day.
When the six-hour period is running, the middle LEDs will illuminate red (indicating that the towel
warmer is heating) and the left-hand LED will flash green (indicating that Auto timer 1 program is
active); see Figure 3B.
When the six-hour period is over, the middle LEDs will illuminate blue (indicating that the towel warmer
is no longer heating) and the left-hand LED will illuminate green constantly (indicating that Auto timer 1
program is active but currently in standby mode); see Figure 3C.
To cancel the programming, press button 1 until the left-hand LED blacks out (around 3 seconds).
4. Auto timer 2 activated once a day ( the main switch must be set to the ‘On’ position)
Programming for Auto timer 2 must be done at the time of day you want the towel warmer to start.
Press and hold button 2 for approximately 3 seconds (see Figure 4A) until the right-hand LED flashes
green three times rapidly, indicating that programming has been completed. When Auto timer 2 has
been activated, the warmer will switch on for the same six-hour period every day.
When the six-hour period is running, the middle LEDs will illuminate red (indicating that the towel
warmer is heating) and the right-hand LED will flash green (indicating that Auto timer 1 program is
active); see Figure 4B.
When the six-hour period is over, the middle LEDs will illuminate blue (indicating that the towel warmer
is no longer heating) and the right-hand LED will illuminate green constantly (indicating that Auto timer
3 program is active but currently in standby mode); see Figure 4C.
To cancel the programming, press button 2 until the right-hand LED blacks out (around 3 seconds).
Read this guide carefully before use.
The towel dryer can reach a temperature of around 60°C, which can be hot to the touch.
