Note: If the pulse indicator light flashes quickly several times and then there is a pause, there
may be a problem with the energiser. Return the energiser to a PATURA appointed service
agent for repair
Operation (P50 only)
Switching on and off when the energiser is not security locked
To switch on, press and hold until the display turns on.
To switch off, press and hold until the display turns off.
Changing the power level
Press briefly to change between half power and full power.
The pointer changes to indicate half power or full power .
Changing the pulse speed
To change the pulse speed, press repeatedly until the two pointers ( ) on the right­hand
side of the display indicate the required setting.

Fast 1.5 s 1.5 s
Slow 2.5 s 2.5 s

Night Mode ­ Fast 1.5 s 3.5 s

Night Mode ­ Slow 2.5 s 3.5 s
Note: In night mode, the energiser senses darkness using the light sensor and automatically
changes the pulse speed.
Battery symbol
The battery symbol indicates the battery is running low.
When the battery symbol is displayed, this indicates the battery is around 3/4 charge.
When the battery symbol is flashing, this indicates the battery is around 1/2 charge.
Power-save
If there is insufficient sunlight to maintain battery charge, the energiser will override the pulse
speed and power level settings. This reduces battery power consumption, ensuring a contin­
uous supply of power to the fence.
