Battery information
Battery charging
The solar panel can fully charge a flat battery in 3 days, provided that the
energizer is switched off and that there is adequate sunlight.
Battery save operation
In most circumstances, when the battery is fully charged, the P25, P35 and
P70 energizer will deliver a pulse every 1.5 seconds. The P140 energizer
delivers a pulse every 1.5 seconds during the day, and every 2 seconds at
night.
If days of bad weather occur or insufficient sunlight is received, the energizer
may conserve battery power by operating in half power mode with a redu-
ced pulse speed of 3.5 seconds. Once sufficient sunlight is received and the
battery is fully charged again, the energizer will return to normal operation.
If there is poor sunlight for many days and the battery becomes depleted, the
energizer may stop delivering pulses altogether. However, once the energizer
begins to receive sufficient sunlight again, the battery will recharge and the
energizer will resume normal operation.
