Hardware Installation

OnSite 2701A/I E1/T1 Ethernet Bridge (NTU) User Manual

• Installation

Connect a straight-through Ethernet cable between the PC’s NIC or PCMCIA Ethernet card and the
Ethernet port on the rear panel of the OnSite device (see

figure 3

on page 20).

Connect a straight-through Ethernet cable between the PC’s NIC or PCMCIA Ethernet card and an
Ethernet hub or switch.

Web Operation and Configuration

Now that the IP address has been configured for your application, you can complete the configuration using
any standard web browser.

Web Browser

Do the following:

Launch a standard web browser such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

Enter the OnSite device’s IP address into the URL or Address field of the browser. The OnSite NTU home
page displays as shown in

figure 7
