SETTING UP
Warning! Risk of injury!
Before performing any operation unplug the power cord
from
the wall socket.
Auxiliary handle
(
see Picture
C)
Always use the hammer
with the handle
(8)
attached. The handle provides additional support and safety
during use. It is suitable for both right
-
and left
-
handed people.
•
Loosen the handle collar by
rotating the handle (c4) counter
-
clockwise against the clamp holder (c
3).
•
Insert the handle collar over the chuck (1) onto the hammer
neck and pivot the handle into desired
position which is best for handling.
Handle can be mounted both ways to suit right
-
or left
-
handers.
•
Tighten the handle (c4
)
by turning it clockwise.

•
Release the depth stop adjuster
(
c2) and insert the depth stop (c
1).
•
Set any drilling depth as a difference between the point of drill tip and point of depth stop.
•
Press the adjuster
(
c
2)
to keep the depth setting.

The machine is designed for using replacement drill
bits
and tools
with
SDS-
plus
shaft. Enclosed is an
SDS-
plus adapter with gear rim chuck which can accept standard drill bits with cylindrical shaft
and
diameter from 1,5 to 13 mm
and also bits
with ¼” (6,35 mm) hex shank
.
For screwing, use a universal bit
holder with SDS
-
plus shaft
(not included)
.
Always use a drill/tool
suitable for the material being worked.
Warning! Risk of injury!
When replacing
the
drill/tool,
wear protective gloves.
The drill
bit
and chuck may become hot during use, especially when
chiselling or
impact drilling.
SDS tool inserting and removing
The power tool is equipped with SDS
-
plus chuck which enables quick and easy tool replacement.
•
Clean the tool shaft and grease it lightly
with special lubricant for SDS tools
.
•
Pull back the locking collar (2) and insert the
tool.
•
Release the locking sleeve, this locks the
tool holder. Pull the tool to ensure that it is locked in place.
•
To remove the tool, pull back the locking collar (2) and take out the tool.

eared
-
rim chuck
(for drilling only)
This chuck enables using of cylindrical drill bits and is equipped with SDS
-
plus adapter on one side
.
The
chuck can be inserted and removed just like any other SDS
-
plus tool.
Note:
Do not use geared
-
rim chuck for impact drilling with rotary hammer! Only drill without impact.
Cylindrical drill bit clamping
•
Open the
geared
-
rim
chuck (a3) by inserting the chuck key (a2) into one of the holes around the
chuck and turning the key counter
-
clockwise
.
The jaws will dilate.
•
Insert the drill bit (a1) into the jaws of the chuck and tighten the chuck evenly around the drill bit by
turning the key (a2) clockwise. Fully tighten and make sure the drill bit is centered.
•
Never leave the chuck key (a2) in the chuck during operation!
Note
:
Before drilling, make a short test to see if the drill bit is centered and straight. Do not use bent or
damaged drill bits and discard them
.
