OPERATION (Figure 2)
• Twist the Solar Panel Unit (Part A) a ¼ turn in a
counter clockwise direction until it separates from
the Plastic Lens (Part B).
• Remove the isolated tag from the battery chamber,
located underneath the Solar Panel Unit (Part A).
• Take the light to direct sunshine that allows
the rechargeable battery to reach its maximum
capacity. Ensure the light is in full sunlight for 8
hours.
• The unit will then automatically light up at dusk.
Note: Lights with crystalline panels may have a
protective film over the solar panel. This must be
removed prior to use.
OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS AND BATTERY REPLACEMENT
CHANGING THE BATTERY (Figure 3)
• Twist the Solar Panel Unit (Part A) a ¼ turn in a
counter clockwise direction until it separates from
the Plastic Lens (Part B).
• Open the battery chamber cover on the bottom of
Solar Panel Unit (Part A).
• Replace the battery with a new AA 600 mAh Ni-Mh
solar rechargeable battery, ensuring the correct
polarity is observed.
• Reassemble the unit by reversing the above
procedure.
• Fully charge the battery before first use for up
to 2 days in full sunlight. The unit will then
automatically light up at dusk.
