If you are using Windows XP SP2 or another operating system with a
firewall installed, you will get something like similar to Figure 13 when
the first time you clicked the “IP Address” button to open the Network
setup screen.

This is because the GUI needs to open a UDP port (port number:
51164) to communicate with the switch. Click “Unblock” button to allow
the operation.
In case the switch already has a static IP address assigned. The screen
will look as in Figure 14.

Fill in all the fields with correct values and click the “Update” button to
update the IP address settings. The update will take effect immediately
and the switch will reboot, hence the current connection will be
terminated.
