Reconfiguring the IP Address
To reconfigure the switch’s IP address, click the “IP Address” button on
the main panel.

By default the switch’s IP address is acquired from a DCHP server on
your network before you’ve had a chance to assign its initial IP address
in the device installer application.
Once you have access to the switch, you can change the static IP
address from the panel in Figure 12.
When changing to a static IP address, make sure no other devices on
the network are using the same IP address that you are assigning to
this switch. See Static/ IP Address Configuration on page 12.
If you are not sure, ask your network administrator for assistance in
assigning a unique IP address for the switch.
You must also close your browser completely, change the entry in the
Java Control panel console exception list matching the old static IP to
the new, then reopen your browser and navigate to the new IP address.
