Launched in 2006 to celebrate 30 years of the
Nautilus collection, your Nautilus with date, moon
phases and power reserve display is one of the few
sports watches to be equipped with complications. The
ultra-thin self-winding caliber 240 PS IRM C LU
movement drives these features with exceptional
reliability and extreme precision, earning the time-
piece the prestigious Patek Philippe Seal. Its refined
details, remaining faithful to the traditional values of
fine watchmaking (including bridges adorned with
Geneva waves, boasting a polished finish and beve-
led edges; a hand-finished circular-grained plate; and
a 22-carat gold mini rotor with Geneva waves and
an engraved Calatrava cross) are visible through a
sapphire crystal case back. Its horizontally embossed
dial – an iconic feature of the men’s Nautilus watch –
is distinguished by its unique geometry and unprec-
edented readability, boasting a pointer-type date
display at 7 o’clock with moon-phase aperture, a pow-
er-reserve display between 10 and 11 o’clock, and sub-
sidiary seconds between 4 and 5 o’clock. Boasting
side-mounted hinges reminiscent of those found on
marine portholes, and an unusual octagonal-shaped
bezel with rounded corners enhanced by alternat-
ing brushed and polished textures, the case is distin-
