Step 2: Fix the 4 metal triangles to the ground using the
88 x 20 mm bolts
Step 4: Clamp the reed panels to the outside of the
metal rings: begin with the 1st row from the underside.
Tip: lay the thickest reed or makuti panels to one side for
the highest row.
For the 2.20 m and 2,80 m models: do not clamp panels
to the 2nd metal ring, which only acts as a support for
the more flexible makuti panels. Continue with the 3rd
ring from the underside. For the 3.30 m model, clamp to
all rings.
Trim the excess part of the last panel of each row
with a knife. Take care not to cut any part with clips.
If necessary, it is better to cut the very end of 2
panels than one large piece with a clip.
Step 3: Attach the supports to the frame and then to the
tension ring using the 2 8 x 20 mm bolts and 2 8 x 30 mm
bolts. You can connect the two parts of the tension ring
using these last bolts.
